Veg tan leather offers so many different possibilities and this makes veg tan leather the perfect choice to make custom knife sheaths or custom fitted leather gun holsters. These 4x4" wide coasters might be a tad small for holsters or knife sheaths, but they are a great material to practice before you try it out on a larger piece of premium vegetable tanned leather. For a knife sheath or gun holster project you will probably want a larger piece such as a single shoulder or double shoulder of high grade, full grain, premium vegetable tanned leather.
