We are pleased to offer to our buyers excellent quality Brown Upholstery Leather Remnants. We work with our broker to source commercial-grade scraps leftover from leather furniture, bags, and car upholstery manufacturers. What we box up and send to you is what the commercial manufacture had leftover or couldn’t use for their products. Because we are not fussy or too picky with what we will buy from our broker we end up getting these scraps at a bargain and pass the savings on to you.
Upholstery leather is mainly chromium tanned or Nappa tanned lather. The tannery will correct the grain and remove imperfections by sanding and buffing the top grain of the leather. This makes the leather more consistent so that the manufacture can use more of the hide in their products. Upholstery leather on average is fairly thin and lightweight, about 3-4 ounce (1.2 to 1.6 millimeters). You can expect to receive a mix of brown leather tones and various weights 2-3 ounce to 4-5 ounce. You can expect to receive some large scrap that is over a square foot or two, to some medium and smaller scrap under a square foot.
This scrap bag contains large brown leather pieces for use on anything you can imagine. Most pieces will be over 12"x12" and some slightly smaller pieces. This pack contains different tones of brown leather and mixed sizes and thicknesses. Soft and supple, this leather is premium quality grade and you will love the quality.
These upholstery leather remnants are perfect for arts and crafts of all sorts, popular with scouts and campfire activities. Miniaturists use upholstery leather for doll clothes, Native Americans use leather for Kachina Dolls. Another use would be for leather accessories like dice bags, stone pouches, patchwork handbags, wallets, clutch purses, and anything else you can imagine. There is a lot that you can do and use five pounds of scrap leather remnants for!
If you have any questions, we are happy to help you in any way that we can.
