Introducing our Oxford Xcel line of buttery soft and smooth chrome tanned leather strips. This leather is incredible to the touch, feel and smell. It has an amazing pull-up effect as well. Our Oxford Xcel leather is very comparable to Horween Chrome Excel. We believe that the quality is just as good but with a lower price tag.
The process used to create this leather infuses the hides with oil, wax and tallow mixture that provides the leather with an unmatched durability and feel. They are then stained with an aniline dye which creates a richly colored leather with a beautiful pull-up effect. This full grain leather holds up well to the elements and resists hardening for generations.
These brown chrome tanned strips do have some color variation between sides.
LENGTH: All of our Oxford Xcel leather strips come in lengths of 60"+. You will not receive a strip shorter than 60" unless you specifically request it.
WEIGHT (THICKNESS): These strips come in one thickness, 5/6oz making them perfect for belts, purse straps, and much much more.
WIDTH: We also offer them in many different widths: .5”, .75”, 1”, 1.25”, 1.5”, 1.75”, 2”, 2.25", 2.5”, 2.75", 3”, 3.25", 3.5”, 3.75" & 4”
During checkout you can choose what width you would like by using the drop down selection box. If you don’t see the width you need please contact us. If you need your strips cut "buckle cut" (cutting 1/8" narrow to allow for easy use of buckles) let us know by leaving a note when you checkout or message us directly. Once we have your specifics we will make the necessary adjustments and make sure your order is perfect before shipping it out. Since we cut all of our strips by hand, we can take special requests and are very flexible to accommodate our customers.
