This listing is for two pounds of heavyweight 6/7oz, 8/9oz and 10/12oz vegetable tanned leather scrap. As we cut our leather strips for customers we are left with a lot of high quality veg tan scrap and that is what you will receive when you purchase this item. Heavyweight leather adds up quickly but we do our best to send you scrap that we would work with ourselves.
This veg tan scrap is perfect for small projects like knife sheaths, gun holsters, tooling and stamping practice, and much more. We curate each bag to make sure that there are some decent sized pieces in there. We try and include one or two larger pieces that can be used to make a knife sheath or holster, a few medium and a few smaller pieces. If you are just starting to learn leather craft, this is a great way to get started and get some practice without spending a fortune.
This leather is b/c grade and you will possibly find a bug bite, brand, range mark or scar. However, a lot of the scrap will look great with no blemishes. This bag is a perfect choice to practice leather tooling, stamping and carving.
