Stonestreet Leather
No se pudo cargar la disponibilidad de retiro
This offering is for strips cut from vegetable tan leather imported from South America and is produced exclusively for Stonestreet Leather. These leather strips are clean, and ideal for dress belts, purse straps, rifle slings, or guitar straps with smooth top grain and backs.
You can expect your leather to arrive with a beige color produced by bark and leaves extracts that will change to a caramel tone with a natural patina. The straps are cut from the double shoulder of a South American steer that has a tight dense grain. The leather strips you are purchasing are 48" minimum in length but could be up to or over 52" in length.
We offer these leather strips to you in four available weights and in 11 different widths; you can choose from using the drop down box - reference our leather weight guide for more information on picking the right weight/thickness. If you don't see the width or weight you need, please contact us for a custom order, and we will cut a strip in the width and weight you need! Whether it's a leather belt blank, leather straps for purses, or something else, we've got you covered!
The Tannery we source the leather from is an award-winning Tannery that won Tannery of the Year several years in a row. The family-owned Tannery has kept their well-balanced recipe a secret. We can understand why, and so will you when you receive your leather with a color balance that we cannot capture with a camera. These strips tool, stamp, emboss, carve, wet mold, and take dye beautifully.
This listing offers b/c grade leather, meaning minimal imperfections such as bug bites, scars, range marks, grain damage, or oxidation. We do not count fat wrinkles as a defect in the leather, and fat wrinkles are found in almost every cowhide tanned and add to the leather's character. These pieces are ideal for a leather crafter that does not require Hermann Oak, EC, or Wickett and Craig. These are fantastic for leather belt blanks, leather straps of all varieties, and more!
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know, we are happy to answer any questions.

Small pieces but at least they are a workable thickness of 3-5 oz.

I bought this blank to restore a belt my grandfather made with several big silver cabs. The blank is exactly what I needed to make my heirloom wearable again. I love that it comes in 1.75 width, different thicknesses, and various snap options.
I ordered this wallet because I could see the high quality workmanship from the pictures.
The idea that there's NO STITCHES and riveted means it WILL LAST FOREVER. I found my LAST WALLET ever!!!!
The buffalo is glazed and simply beautiful....

This is my second belt from this company. I first bought a black belt about 5 years ago. This belt has worn well and has many more years of life before it will need replacement. I like the appearance of this new brown belt and suspect it will be used for many years. I used my own buckle on both belts and have a leather punch to make the holes. There are probably other ways to make the holes, like a drill, but the punch is easy.
Stonestreet's leather quality is outstanding, and I am more than satisfied with the results.
The items (belt blanks) exceeded my expectation. Other vedors blanks have been a lesser quality leather and low ounce thickness.
